Clematis 'Engelina' "My Angel" ®
Flowers 1-7 together, nodding inside yellow, outside purple, with creamy-colored
edge, four tepals The seed heads are white and numerous. Hardy
woody climbing plant with purple stems.The cross of Clematis
orientalis var. orientalis x Clematis intricata is a climber
to 3.0 m Leaves oblong and bluish green.
Blooming time August, September and October.
Pruning - hard pruning to one foot or 30 cm above
the ground in late winter or early spring. The flowers appear
on New Spring growth.

Introduced by J. Van Zoest, Boskoop, The Netherlands
Named after Lina the wife of the introducer (christian name: Engelina of
which the part Engel means Angel in English).
Clematis 'Engelina'p.p.a.f. "My Angel"ª is a patented
plant, and propagation is prohibited except by licensed growers
in the USA and Canada.
