Flowers are semi-nodding starting out deep purple-blue and lighten with age to reveal pink-mauve veining and bar. 4-8 tepals, obovate to narrowly oblong, spreading. Flower diameter 3 inch or 7.5-9cm Cream or creamy-yellow anthers.
A hardy semi-herbaceous, non-clinging, compact shrubby perennial.
