Introducing: Lavandula
stoechas "With Love"™
The introduction of Lavandula "With Love" represents
a purpose bred Lavender exhibiting prolific and a long flowering
period. This plant has attractive clear pink
flowers along with the benefits of compact mounded habit and
disease resistance.
This Lavender has been developed as part of
a Australian breeding program over
many years. The emphasis of this program was, unlike so many
lavenders
on the market, to purposely cross particular varieties, developing
a new variety exhibiting specific characteristic of its parents.
After
trialling hundreds of potential types, in garden and container
situations, the selection criteria of habit, flowering and
disease
tolerance has resulted in Lavender "With Love"
A compact and
mounded habit allows "With Love" to be display
perfectly as a single container gift and ultimately a garden
plant or
alternately on mass informally or for hedging.
After an outstanding
late winter / spring display this variety continues to
flower in flushes throughout the year. The flowers themselves,
unlike
the long arching stems of traditional varieties, are held tightly
just
above the foliage.
If you feel this is an item that your customers
would find tempting, please feel at ease to contact me.
Sincerely
Rick Sorenson
