Flowers are yellow with a red throat, a double flowering type with trumpet-shaped petals throughout . The tight centre buds are a lime green with red tips before opening The trumpets flare out larger as the plant ages! Remove the spent blooms as this will fuel the flowering performance to continue into early Fall. Outstanding cut flower.
Foliage
Mature height: The mound form is 38cm height x
50cm wide (15" high x 18") wide giving a much more uniform look
in the garden, unlike seed forms of Gaillardia.
Planting: Liking well drained soil, easy to grow
and extremely drought tolerant. This cultivar performs best in
typical, loamy garden soils with at least 12 hours of direct
sunlight.
Prune: Make sure to remove the spent blooms, as
this will fuel the flowering performance to continue into early
Fall.
