Flowers: A pale blue large double flowering selection. Although a serrata, the inflorescence is more like a macrophylla. To maintain double flowers and continuous flowering keep this cultivar in vigorous growth. The new blooms appear on the new growth from the old wood.

Blooming time can begin mid May to early June. Foliage: The new leaves of this cultivar are very sweet to the taste. The origin is phyllosulten, which is 100 times sweeter than sugar. Try making some tea.

Mature height 100 cm x 100cm wide (39"x39" wide at full maturity) Plant in half shade.

Pruning; remove anything dead, mis-shapen branches,and the very oldest portion of the plant. Zone 5
