Flowers are a beautiful double purple when grown in acid soil. The blooms appear on the new growth from the old wood, and often a re-bloom in late Summer to Fall.
This cultivar was named by the late Mr. Takeomi
Yamamoto.

to 4' wide)
Plant in sun to half shade.
Blooming time can begin from mid to the end of May. Pruning; remove anything dead, mis-shapen branches,and
the very oldest portion of the plant.
