Hydrangea serrata "Fujinotaki" ™ The Masters Collection ™
Flowers are a double white sterile florets with multiple sepals. The
blooms appear on the new growth from old wood. The sepals
are larger at the bottom and when the plant is in good
growth, the sepals can be stacked nine high. The infloresence
is compact and resembles a half balled flower.
Blooming time is rather long for its full of petals.
Mature height 100cm by 120cm wide (3'x4')
Planting instructions: Take care that the
root system is not too dry going into winter. For the aid
of repening of the last seasons growth, not unlike all serrata
cultivars, It can be planted in a situation where it is exposed
to full sun through the end of September to end of October.
Pruning; remove anything dead, mis-shapen branches,and
the very oldest portion of the plant.
