Thuja Plicata '4 Ever' "Goldy" ™
Goldy will have all the qualities to make a great stand alone specimen or a formal hedge that will make the neighbors envious. Thuja plicata is a native species to many of the forests on the West coast of North America. Over the years a number of selections have been made to include Thuja plicata Atrovirens and Excelsea and a number of mottled golden selections. Goldy is the most compact and yellow/golden cultivar that has been seen. In the early years of it’s development it resembles the growth of the Thuja occidentalis cultivars. Sunburn has not been an issue in the Netherlands trials.
