Photinia fraseri 'Fantasy'"Deep Purple" ™
A dark leafed sport of Photinia fraseri "Red Robin". Having sharply toothed leaves with purple to black new growth, similar to the height and width of Photinia fraseri "Red Robin". The leaf is larger and darker on the fold in new growth and the old leaves do not fade to near green. This plant was destined for the cut stem market in Europe because of its ability to display dark purple foliage on a year round basis.
Planting: For successful growing conditions it should
be planted in a well balanced garden soil and it can tolerate more
lime content in the soil.
