Salvia microphylla x Heatwave Sparkle Eggben 04 uspp#24154
Sparkle produces mass displays of deep mauve/pink with white throat flowers throughout the warm months. An aromatic evergreen compact shrub, so easy to grow, very long bloom period, and very tolerant of dry hot conditions. The Heatwave Salvia’s are a cross of microphylla x greggii, eliminating the variable range of habits and lack of garden hardiness associated with so many of the straight Salvia greggii forms in the market. These plants are very tight in habit and appearance.
