Salvia microphylla x Heatwave™ Blaze ppaf
Blaze produces mass displays of dark crimson red blossoms shown against green foliage throughout the warm months. An aromatic evergreen compact shrub, so easy to grow, very long bloom period, and very tolerant of dry hot conditions. The Heatwave ™ Salvia’s are a cross of microphylla x greggii, eliminating the variable range of habits and lack of garden hardiness associated with so many of the Salvia greggii forms in the market. The plants are very tight habit in appearance.
