Salvia microphylla x greggii Heatwave Blast Eggben 02uspp#24153
Blast produces mass displays of salmon colored large flowers shown off against green foliage throughout the warm months. An aromatic evergreen compact shrub, so easy to grow, very long bloom period, and very tolerant of dry hot conditions. The Heatwave Salvia’s are a cross of microphylla x greggii, eliminating the variable range of habits and lack of garden hardiness associated with so many of the straight Salvia greggii forms in the market. The plants are very tight habit in appearance.
